MEET THE ARTIST
Heather Rozell is a local SE Calgary Artist and mother of 2 wonderful kids! Heather has commissioned many art pieces including custom acrylic canvas paintings, wood ornaments, vases, candles and more.
Heather opened an art studio to share her passion, knowledge and skills, offering all kinds of artistic experiences for all levels. She believes that everyone is capable of success in creating exceptional art.
Create Art Studio opened in 2021, offering small and large group art classes where people of all ages come to learn, draw, paint, craft, and explore.
Working with a variety of media and materials, Heather enjoys devising new and interesting ways of expression through art! Her creative projects capture students' imaginations and let their ideas soar!!!

Mixed Media Art Classes
Do you know a child that loves art? Come join our weekly art class!! We make a special art project each week and explore different colours, mediums, themes and creative ideas!
Our next 8-week session starts April 30th to June 20th 2025!
Wednesdays from 530-7pm
(Ages 5 to 14) 8 weeks or Fridays from 130-3pm (Ages 5 to 14) 7 weeks
Sketch Classes Thursdays 530-630pm (Ages 6 to 11) or Teen Sketch 645-745pm (Ages 12 to 18) 8 weeks

Sketch Classes
Come join us for our next 8 week session starting May 1st, ages 6 to 18. Explore pencil sketching, learn about shading techniques and use pencil crayons, watercolours, oil pastels, alcohol ink markers and more!

Artist and Art Instructor, Heather Rozell, is on the approved Calgary Board of Education Artist in Residence roster! Heather has worked in many CBE schools.
Heather works with teachers and admin staff to create an art experience that connects students to art and their current curriculum goals.
Create Art Studio has been honored to be able to partner with schools to work with students on special art projects!
